Hurricane Florence Creates Job Opportunities for Unemployed Workers

The ECWDB has launched the Hurricane Florence Disaster Relief Employment Program that is sponsored by the US Department of Labor. The program provides temporary employment to individuals who have lost their jobs due to Hurricane Florence or who have been unemployed for 13 weeks or longer. Some of the available temporary positions include, but are not limited to: General Laborers and Maintenance Workers, Heavy Equipment Operators, Disaster Program Case Managers and Administrative Assistants.
