This newsletter highlights the recent accomplishments of the ECWDB and our partners in our region!

High Speed Gear is holding a drive-up application event on April 13th from 10am-4pm, seeking skilled production sewing machine operators and product assemblers.

We are requesting your help to ensure NC workforce structures are providing skill training aligned with your employment needs. We hope you can spare a few minutes to provide feedback on our initial list of non-degree workforce credentials.

The Eastern Carolina Workforce Development Board, Inc. (ECWDB) has awarded Two Hawk Workforce Services (THWS) $1.4 million to operate an On-the-Job Training program (OJT) in the counties of Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Pamlico, and Wayne.

There will be a Boat Manufacturing Hiring Event on March 30th and 31st, applicants should come during one of the advertised times to complete the application.

Don't miss this virtual hiring event for Veterans on April 16th, 2021, presented by Lowe's and The Carolina Panthers. This virtual event will put you face-to-face with hiring managers and recruiters utilizing web-based technology.
